Chuuk State ,also known as Truk, is one of the four states in the Federated States of Micronesia located in the Central Pacific. Its unique name derived from the features of the island, “Chuuk” means high mountains and the island does inhabit many high peaks. It is home to an estimated amount of 50,000 inhabitants. Chuukese is the primary language spoken among the citizens, but it is also composed of three different dialects. The dialects are Lagoonese, Mortlockese, and Northwestern.
Chuukese Native Language Solution is a language service provider that focuses primarily on the languages from Micronesia. We have been in business since 2021 providing language services to the courthouses in Washington and Oregon, Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families, and other non-profit and private agencies. Our primary goal is to break down the barriers that create obstacles and challenges due to language limitations. Our professional teams are well versed in both our mother tongues and English. We can bridge language gaps and promote effective communications.

We are currently based in Vancouver Washington, and we proudly serve our communities here in Washington, Oregon, and the other neighboring states. Our professional teams have extensive experiences in providing interpretation services in medical, social services, and legal setting.
LESERINE MURITOK
Owner and founder of Chuukese Native Language Solution LLC
Leserine has over 9 years of experience in the translation and interpretation industry. She moved to Washington in 2014 to work as a video remote interpreter at Language Access Network, and received her Core Certification Healthcare Interpreter (CoreCHI) certification. In 2017, Leserine had transitioned into legal and court interpretation services to assist with the growing needs of court interpreters, specifically for the Chuukese language. Her dedication and willingness to help others have helped her achieved her goal to start her own business. She is currently working at the courthouses in Washington, Oregon, and other neighboring states. She has partnered with other qualified interpreters to help meet the needs of our community.
